Drawing – Painting – Mixed Media

The colour areas arise spontaneously, without any prior structure. The feeling of the moment determines the shape and colour, sometimes soft and harmonious in its appearance, sometimes rather challenging or eclectic.

The works on paper are worked out with pencil, bistre, charcoal, pastels, watercolour paint, … Bister limits the choice of colour but at the same time gives the soft natural look that is so characteristic for this.

In these times of technological revolution, it was of course inevitable that digital work would make its appearance. The “digital art portraits” are drawn freehand on a tablet, averse to any pre-programmed effects. The result is printed on high-quality plexiglass.

I am always looking for an inspiring look or an expression of emotion. The viewer first experiences the visual impression and is initially, consciously or unconsciously influenced by the choice of colour. However, if one looks a little longer, the portrait will evoke an emotion. However, not everyone experiences the same emotion but fills it in themselves. The moment, the atmosphere of the room, all kinds of impressions and experiences can determine this.

Digital Art

All digital made art is available on demand on high-quality plexiglass in different sizes. However these prints are not unlimited: only 5 of each drawing will be produced.
